And to clarify, "leave as is" translates to a reset every 6 months which has been our current procedure for a while now.

I'd be in for the 3 month term, it seems it gets quiet after the first month these days.

I have no objection to a restart. I haven't gotten very far this map due to spawn be a strategic building issue for me. (Not enough land.) Also, it's been too quite and I like to build with others. So, if a restart would prompt new interest, why not?

Looking at restarting the first of the year. That way we can spend time with family and friends.

I dunno, I think every 3 months might be too much. If they happen too often, it's less of an event. By the time I stop playing on a given map, I'm kind of sick of Minecraft for a while, and if the server resets before I get the urge to play again, there's more of a chance that I just sit out that reset.

It also pretty much kills the possibility of ever having a non-vanilla server without conflict because there's no opportunity to sneak another type of server creation into the cycle.

That said, I am definitely in favour of a reset on the 1st of the year (tomorrow!).

As for the reset frequency. I say we play that by ear. And not really have a set time frame.
