The problem i am having atm is getting these pokemon, my Diamond which is by far my furthest pokemon game, has been crippled due to trading away all my best stuff under the "i will never play this again" idea. So, what do i do?

I'd say give me a sledgehammer and i'll take care of it, but I'm well aware that's not enough. If Nintendo hasn't shirked on their design, it would pretty much take an act of a god to break a DS, and even then.

Case in point, at the Nintendo World Store in NYC, we have an original Game Boy system that survived a bombing during the first Gulf War.

ok when i said broken i did not mean "no-longer functioning" i meant "annoying as f*** to use". the hinge broke, and no longer lock into place, and sometimes the screen turns weird colors.

I know Frau has somehow given the top screen of her DS a large cluster of broken pixels. Still a playable system, but a little annoying to use at times.

I just caught a Growlithe. What are your opinions on its stats/moveset?

Growlithe/Arcanine is pretty well rounded stats wise and has a variety of good moves between Crunch, Flamethrower, Flare Blitz, Close Combat, Wild Charge, among others. Intimidate and Flash Fire are both good abilities to choose from too. Plus you have an undeniable cool factor with it.

I finally caught an Eevee (27 Pokeballs with red health) and now I can't decide what I want to evolve it into.

Are Leafeon and Glaceon any good? To me it looks like Leafeon has high attack but learns mainly Special moves,
and then Glaceon is the opposite; Glaceon has high Sp. attack but learns mainly physical moves.

or am I wrong?

My team has been finalized!

(Lead/ Phs Wall) Steelix
Nature: Impish
EV's HP:252 SDef:180 Def:76
Item: Leftovers
Moves: Stealth Rock, Roar, Earthquake, Gyroball
Steelix is meant to dish out the stealth rocks while taking a some hits, and roaring opponents away to be damaged. But has gyroball and earthquake to help out if he needs to go offensive.

(Phs Atk) Ninjask
Nature: Adamant
EV's: Atk:252 Speed:252 HP:6
Item: Life Orb
Moves: X-Scissor, Giga Impact, Aerial Ace, Nightslash
Ninjask is meant to do a bunch of quick damage, primarly with x-scissor and giga impact. He can't really take a hit, so i do not expect him to last long.

(Spc Atk) Porygon-Z
Nature: Timid
EV's SAtk:252 Spd:252 Hp:6
Item: Life Orb
Moves: Tri-Attack, Tunderbolt, Ice Beam, Nasty Plot
Porygon-Z is going to be a POWERHOUSE when it comes to special damage, probably able to take a Blissey no problem.

(Phs Atk) Lucario
Nature: Adamant
Ablilty: Steadfast
EV's Atk:252 SAtk:252 Hp:6
Item: Life Orb
Moves: Close Combat, Extreme Speed, Crunch, Swords Dance
Lucario is about prolonged beat downs, strong enough to take a hit or two, swords dance+close combat= PAIN

(Mixed Atk) Magmortar
Nature: Hasty
EV's: Atk:40 SAtk:252 Spd:216
Item: Expert Belt
Moves: Fire Blast, Thunderbolt, Cross Chop, Hidden Power
Magmortar is meant to cover a wide range of possible opponents, while still dishing out insane damage

(Spc Wall)Probopass
Nature: Quiet
Ability: Magnet Pull
EV's Hp:252 Def:104 SDef:56
Item: Leftovers
Moves: Thunder, Earth Power, Magnet Rise, Tuant
Probopass is my special wall meant to absorb damage, and deal some back.

So that is going to be my team! Starting tomorrow i will work on it whenever i have free time, and hopefully soon i can start battling school friends or people from the Ville! Also thanks Zork for helping me assemble this team!

My 4th Gen Leafeon came across as a defender, sure it learns a fair amount of specials, but it's physical defense along with it's Leaf Barrier ability (immune to status in sunny weather) made it an ideal tank, as well as being able to learn Synthesis. Not much else going for it, but it can take a punch or two. Nix the specials and teach it Leaf Blade when you find the move tutor.

You might want to rethink that team composition a little bit. You have four Pokemon weak to Ground/Fighting and three weak to Water/Fire. Earthquake can be taught to almost anything it seems and almost every team runs a Water type of some form. Something like Swampert or Gastrodon would kill this team solo.

I did notice that, but for water several of my pokemon know thunder/thunder bolt, so they are quickly taken care of, as for ground, well, my hope is that i can faint them with superior speed.

If you're in need of a tank, may I suggest Umbreon? My little gal can withstand the Apocalypse (though I bred her from the egg to be able to do so, her physical and special defense are through the roof).

My post-game White 2 team is, with their nicknames in parentheses:

Hydreigon (Drudge)
VIEW CONTENT:
Ability: Levitate
Item: Wise Glasses
Nature: Modest
IV's: HP:31, Atk:30, Def:15, SpA:31, SpD:20, Spe:31
EV's: HP:6, SpA:252, Spe:252
Moves: Dragon Pulse, Dark Pulse, Flamethrower, Surf
Usually my lead, and general special attacker.
Metagross (Adamantine)
VIEW CONTENT:
Ability: Clear Body
Item: Wide Lens
Nature: Adamant
IV's: HP:31, Atk:31, Def:30, SpA:25, SpD:31, Spe:31
EV's: HP:46, Atk:252, Spe:212
Moves: Meteor Mash, Zen Headbutt, Earthquake, Thunder Punch
Genetic freak of nature and star of the team. This thing has what looks like hacked IV's, but I assure you I hatched it myself. I've got the 3+ boxes of Beldums to prove it... That's after trading multiple boxes worth over the GTS and releasing the crappy ones.
Jellicent (U-Jelly?)
VIEW CONTENT:
Ability: Water Absorb
Item: Leftovers
Nature: Bold
IV's: HP:31, Atk:28, Def:31, SpA:25, SpD:31, Spe:10
EV's: HP:252, Def:226, SpD:32
Moves: Scald, Giga Drain, Ice Beam, Recover
3 immunities, high defenses, and recovery makes for a wall of jelly.
Breloom (Narcolepsy)
VIEW CONTENT:
Ability: Poison Heal
Item: Toxic Orb
Nature: Jolly
IV's: HP:31, Atk:29, Def:12, SpA:0, SpD:31, Spe:31
EV's: Atk:252, SpD:6, Spe:252
Moves: Spore, Seed Bomb, Substitute, Focus Punch
Copy-Pasta SubPunch moveset. A little gimmicky IMHO, but as long as the target is slower and not immune to Spore/sleep you'll never get a chance to hit. Toxic Orb and Poison Heal take care of the damage from Substitute.
Swampert (Mudkipz)
VIEW CONTENT:
Ability: Torrent
Item: Life Orb
Nature: Adamant
IV's: HP:31, Atk:31, Def:27, SpA:10, SpD:31, Spe:22
EV's: HP:252, Atk:252, Def:6
Moves: Earthquake, Waterfall, Avalanche, Hammer Arm
So I heard you like Mudkipz?!
Volcarona (SuperNanny)
VIEW CONTENT:
Ability: Flame Body
Item: Rocky Helmet
Nature: Modest
IV's: HP:31, Atk:25, Def:28, SpA:31, SpD:27, Spe:31
EV's: SpA:252, SpD:6, Spe:252
Moves: Bug Buzz, Fiery Dance, Quiver Dance, Roost
Loves dancing, hatching eggs, and warm fires. Has been present for the hatching of everyone else on the team. First to level 100 (friggin' Fiery Dance). Hates rocks.
Across the team there's no more than 2 pokemon weak to any type, and they are balanced out by the resistances of the other members of the team. I have so may extras that didn't have the right IV's and/or natures in my boxes.

I have a derp Tropius as an HM slave with Fly, Cut, Strength, and Flash for world exploring. Also an alternate Breloom with False Swipe for catching stuff. I'm in the process of building a Thief/Pickup team for free items.

Ok, so which ones should i replace? I like Steelix, Ninjask, and Porygon-Z too much, but the other three are up for changes.

EDIT: looking at it, i can probably swap my Magmortar with Salamence, for his ground immunity, and maybe Lucario for Metagross for his nice resistences. I realize that Metagross is still weak to ground, but i am willing to deal with that to a salamence to the face.
