Although I can't claim a fictional duck as a neighbor, I can say I am related to Johnny Cash, Johnny Mathis, and Samantha Mathis.

Re: Famous People from your town.
i could add to the 4 i named but most would not be that well known outside of the UK,
maybe Reginald Mitchell - spitfire designer,
a really obscure 1 would be 1 off the worlds most successful sports men of all time Phil the Power Taylor, the 15 times world champion darts player.

I went to a Chihuly show years back in Minneapolis, freakin' awesome stuff!Alizée Fan wrote:Tacoma, Washington.
I think the most famous native of my home town, outside of the usual sports figures and stuff, is Dale Chihuly. Result: Our glass museum is bloody excellent.

Re: Famous People from your town.
I'd have to say our most famous citizens are R.E.M. and the B-52's. The folks in the B-52's some also actually grew up here, instead of moving here for school/hipsternirvana. Also, Dr. Leila Denmark, second oldest person on earth, live here. She was a practicing pediatrician until her 103d birthday.

Rapid City, SD.
All I can think of is Adam Vinateri (kicker of the Colts, 3 Superbowl's on the Patriots) who kicked for my high schools football team back in the day. I will come back later once I figure out which other celebrities are from Rapid City.
Oh, there are president statues downtown. Does that count?

Lol, no. The metal statues of unites stated presidents are not famous people from our town. They are just a tourist attraction.
