No really, I'm so rusty. I just got BF3, so...yeah...if you see me, have mercy!

Even for a PC fps vet, BF3 is a little difficult to get into. The soldiers are realistically camo-ed and that makes thing pretty difficult. As Jesus Faction says, its all about spotting. Even if you dont get the points, it helps out a lot. Also, unlock your defib ASAP. Everyone loves a medic.

If you're frustrated to start you need to give it 20-30 hours before you make a real decision on if you like it. I almost quit in the beginning, it drove me crazy but I'm enjoying the heck out of it now, it just takes a bit to adapt.

I remember even with BF2 the beginning was frustrating. I notice that in BF3..the camo is...too good lol

A lot of people may disagree with me on this one, but if you want to level quickly at first to get the first few unlocks. 24/7 metro conquest servers will get you up there fast once you unlock your medpack/defibs for medic and your ammo pack for support. Even w/o them you'll level pretty quickly by tossing grenades in the right places.
