Video walking through IRNV scope

Post by BigBiker05 » Mon Dec 05, 2011 4:48 pm

Coming tonight to the PC in the Dec 6th patch. Assuming this has not been tweaked since the PS3 patch last week, this video details the differences of before and after.

Wow it got hit by a triple whammy.

1. Increased scoping time
2. fuzziness/fog
3. reduced range

No one is going to use it anymore.

I'm ok with the nerf. I am all about the RDS red dot. It seems like it isn't even worth having In the game anymore with how much they borked it.

It only existed to be abused. There were only 2 areas where it had legitimate purpose (Terran and the tunnel on Davmand) and it actually worked worse in the dark. I am glad to see them gone.

I might use it if it still highlights mines and stuff.

It didn't change at all for vehicles, they still got that thermal view. So when you really need to see mines, you still can!

Playing with it in-game, it doesn't have that delay or fog in the video. It just has a little bit less contrast then it used to have.
