Today's Steam Daily Deal offers Mirror's Edge for only $5.00. I've heard mixed things about this game, but am still seriously considering this - $5 is a great price for just about any game. What do other Villuns think of it? Is it worth picking up?
Additionally, my machine meet all the sys reqs listed on the page, except the processor, which it says should be 3.0GHz (mine is 2.67GHz). How much of a performance hit will this cause when I play the game? I know processor isn't the most vital requirement to meet for running a game, but it's still good to know...

Re: Mirror's Edge 75% Off
I played through it a while ago, I enjoyed it, it's definetly worth the 5 bucks.
As for the processor, I bet you won't have a problem. The game's main visual intensity occurs when you're on the city rooftops, simply because there's a lot to render. But don't take this from me, i'm no tech expert.

This is hard to be cool and suave while being informative at the same time. Goddamn my coolness.
In my experience, common sense isn't too common.

I got the game when it first came out years ago, and fully enjoyed the game. I would get it that price.
As for the second part, same as Zork, I'm not a tech person.

It's a fun game. I picked it up a long while ago and haven't played too much of it, mostly cause my old system couldn't handle it. What I did play though was really fun.

Re: Mirror's Edge 75% Off
I did a little research, and it looks like the game needs a minimum Pentium 4 3.0GHz processor, which I know my Core i5 will outperform without trouble. It's a little confusing that the Steam store page doesn't mention specifically which kind of processor the requirements are asking for, while most other games do... there's quite a difference between a Pentium 4 and a Core i5.
I decided to go for it. $5 is too good a deal to pass up.
