I can't wait for that. BFV was one of the first FPS games I played. I enjoyed it a lot. Maybe they'll add portable mortars...

What do I need to know before I buy it? Why am I asking now when it was on sale the other day :(

Will I get owned, will I have fun, will I spend all my time playing it and not killing zombies????

I'm not sure if I should make this its own topic, but I thought I should try here first.

Has anyone been getting Punkbuster errors while playing bc2? My dad gets a lot of them lately, and he's concidering a lot of things that could be doing it. The server, his installation. But its always the same error, with punkbusterB.exe, or something like that. When he looks in services, sometimes B is there and sometimes not, mostly not.

He's been asking his buddies if they've been having problems with it, but has anyone else here been having problem with a specific punkbuster error? My ignorance of any game running on punkbuster makes me sound like a moron as i type this, but it's worth a shot asking isn't it?

I've seen the trailers for this new Battlefield game. I've never been much of a battlefield gamer, I've never been one at all. That's all my dad, but I don't think he's ever played anything other than BF2 and BFBC2. Vietnam seems something I'd pick up though, despite my general newbieness to the franchise.

After reading around a bit a few solutions i read were to ensure that your firewall has the appropriate exceptions
- Port: 80 TCP
- Port: 18121 TCP
- Port: 18126 TCP
- Port: 18126 UDP
- Port: 13505 TCP

Make sure you are running steam as administrator as well.

Next time it happens if you can get a screenshot of the error if there are any more specifics that would help.

For Vietnam, the old school version was my favorite so im looking forward to the new one.

He bought a hardcopy, and didn't register it through steam, because the game was supposed to be Frau's birthday present before he "accidently" took it for himself. But I'll ask him to take a screenshot next time he gets the error. Thanks Betteh :)

Most PB errors can be solved by using pbsetup.
