Warpath - rediscovered

2Fort is a great map for deathmatch type combat. Without lopsided teams and coordination it's a bit difficult to actually achieve objectives rather than just kill kill kill.

As for Warpath, well for several reasons 95% of my TF2 time is on it. Firstly, I know the map pretty well. Got angles and distances down for demoman and sniper like the back of my hand. It's a very thoughtfully designed map, choke points play well for almost every class and the variety of battles that take place on it is great. There's vertical and long range battles in the middle point, tight corners on the 2nd points, etc.

Warpath is also my favorite. It's where I started at the Ville. Absolute blast!

I love Warpath, too.

My friend Ghost Bear were just discussing it on my illegally written chat program at work today.

I think a big part of it is the players and that it's regularly populated.

I'd LOVE a BAdlands server with the same level of player dedication, but the map, alas, inspires it not.

warpath is definitely a great map but the balance of the teams can be thrown off so easily if around 4 good people who know the map random to the same team.. yesterday as we were playing it was amazing how we were beating the other team with 3 wins 0 loss and as we were about to sccramble yahoo joins the other team and all of the sudden we had an even game..

Oooh, Badlands is one of the better maps to see the light of day in many months. I think of all the current maps its the only one I'd like to see 24/7.
