/sigh.

The server has been moved. It's in a DDoS protected location in Chicago now, so hopefully pings aren't too bad for people still. This means the IP/Port has changed again, but at least this time it'll hopefully say UP!

W00t can finally play, when I first started nodes weren't spawning though, took 2 deaths until stuff started to show up (like 3 hours), my name in game is [ACG]Azsouth. love old cherno, just need to figure out what cards, nails, toilet paper, and razors are for.

something else I'v noticed (been away from the game for a bit so haven't caught up yet) but seems like every time I get hit by a zombie I get the coughs and slowly die, I used to find more Antibiotics than I used to get sick now I can't find any antibiotics and keep dieing, I spent the better part of a reset looking for single tire to finish off a UAZ in Stary, looked in almost every town and city around there and couldn't find almost anything industrial, found 2 fuel tanks, 1 engine, 1 scrap metal, and 1 windshield other than that only zombies at industrial spawns...have the nodes been tweaked on the server or is this DayZ making things scarce?

anyway I'v set up my basecamp near the factory near Polana, your all welcome to the stuff in the tents, just don't steal my jeep plz :). Also if you can see what other people have marked on their maps I'v marked where I found 2 flyable choppers.

The spawns haven't been altered at all, except to increase vehicle spawns.

One of the tricks to getting the pops you need is to loot all the potential spawns of the right type, and go dump the trash somewhere away from the spawn spot. Get far enough away to unload the location of the spawn, wait a couple minutes, and head back in. That often will result in repops of the loot. If you encounter other vehicles, many of them have auto parts in them as well.

Re: the razors and toilet paper and such, at this point they're just trash that can be thrown like a grenade to make noise that distracts the zombies. They've talked about giving them actual uses in the future/stand alone, but I'm not aware that they've done so yet.

Now the only problem I have is this code No Entry 'bin\config.bin/CfgMagazines.ItemsNails'
I've reloaded the game files, And still the same problem. Also there is no help I can find for this error on the DayZ boards.

Just from reading the error, it looks like it's having trouble loading something that is a 'magazine' for a nail gun, a potential utility item. I'll do some investigation when I get home tomorrow.
