For those who have got the game and have got some chomp chomp done how has it been?
Are you getting to know the kinks of the game or are there still some big question marks on somethings?

Seems like the new guys are getting better at alien play so the rines need to be more coordinated with is a good thing
More communication brings a better game :D

I tried playing alien commander yesterday, and it went terribly.

Otherwise, enjoying the game when not doing the RTS stuff. Aliens are certainly slightly more confusing to figure out, but it's slowly making sense.

I agree. I bite and bite and scratch but I never seem to get the kill. It's probably just me but I'll get used to it.

I've learned it's important to get some of the upgrades for Skullk - some of which require you to quickly evolve to get (Extra armour, etc) once they're researched.

I exclusively play aliens now, so much more satisfying to chomp and wall jump. And alien commander is a lot less pressure than marine com.

Have a few games under my belt. Mostly on the alien side. I still have to tweak the settings as I'm dropping under 20fps at points. Its playable but the choppiness makes it hard when a lot of action is going on.

Bite has such a short range so you really need to be on the skin to register the hit, show damage is also good

These help too if you remember to get those and comm has made them available

I have to run on the lowest graphics settings for it to be playable.

Now that I have finally got a chance to play it, I am very happy. It really is an enhanced version of NS1 Classic mode, with options that would appear to keep it balanced in small games (Not sure, as I have not played a small game yet). You should see me back more now
