That got leaked awhile ago, but meh. If you're having trouble getting unlocks, this game isn't for you.

Also, the new satelite mini-map, awesome!

I'm sorry, but the nerfs to tanks and attack helicopters, both through the direct nerfs and the buffs to the classes/vehicles that are supposed to deal with them, was necessary.

Tanks and AH were just too dominating on the battlefield. A good crew in either were literally impossible to kill unless you got terribly lucky.

To me, battlefield has always been about the vehicles. I've been a fan of the series since BF1942. When BF2 implemented the Infantry Only patch was when I stopped playing. It just saddens me that DICE and EA want to take on COD with the BF series when the BF series is distinctly different. EA has MOH to battle COD with. I'm sure the people that play 24/7 metro will be happy, though.

I completely disagree here. I will normally only play infantry, but I always play on regular maps. Part of the thrill of BF is being able to dominate other infantry than out-maneuver tanks and choppers until your squad can take it down. Granted, now with-out voip in BF3 this is a lot more tricky as your engineer can't be like "draw fire" and such. The 6 man squads in BF2 were walking point captureres. You could grab an APC or 2 jeeps go to a point and be able to hold it at any costs.

Agreed. You shouldn't be able to just hop in a tank and be assured of a 20 kill streak. Tanks should be used to push onto a point with full infantry support and help drive through the defenders not rolling around the battle field as one vehicle army unstoppable killing machines.

Games need balance to make them fun and playable. The changes they made were balance changes as to not penalize people who weren't able to get into a tank in time and rack up a 30 kill streak. It now forces good tankers to play smart and move with infantry where as before all you had to do in a tank was run around and destroy everyone, have an an engineer hop out and repair you when you started taking damage, then rinse and repeat.

No one thing in a game should completely dominate another. When that is the case it is unbalanced and needs to be brought back in line. That is what happened with tanks. It was the right decision and has nothing to do with making BF3 a CoD clone.
