They put up a list of confirmed fixes http://battlelog.battlefield.com/bf3/ne ... 195992365/ still no date though.

Most of the fixes I was looking for are there. I especially like some of the shotgun tweaks in theory anyways. So are the fixes you guys are looking for on the list?

-Players can now earn the shotgun Ribbon using the M26 MASS.

DAMMIT.

-The MAV can no longer be used as an elevator.

Thank god.

-Claymores now live up to 5 seconds after a player dies, the player can have a max 2 claymores planted at the same time.

Terrible change. Claymores are now back to being useless.

I like it, but the claymores make me sad.

The claymore change is just going to promote more pronestar players who will put down a claymore and hide in a corner watching it. Claymore is the infantry version of mines. If mines don't despawn on death, neither should claymores.

I have no problem with C4 disappearing on death. I loved trolling with it, but that change needed to happen.

i actually didnt read all the weap changes...just the air vehicles...and mainly the aquisition changes on them, of which i approve...i dont care if my claymores explode in rose petals or my USAS shoots stuffed picachus, BUT DAMN IT, my below the radar should work against land units!

Yeah i would abuse that without shame on large metro maps, i would run down the stairs into the mass of US waiting...lobbing c4...get killed, spawn, then lol wildly as i would pick up 8+ kills

-Unguided tank rounds and RPGs will now instantly destroy Jets, Attack Helicopters, and Scout Helicopters.
Bye bye pesky helo

hitting a chopper with a tank shell is the most satisfying thing in the game for me

Yeah the rpg taking out the helos will stop people from abusively going on hover sprees. Not so invulnerable now.

I shot an RPG at a transport helo the other day and killed everyone inside of it but not the chopper. Chopper floated to the ground then was stolen. Weirdest thing ever.

-Reduced the recoil of the SKS rifle and increased its maximum damage at close range.
-Bolt action sniper rounds now have a chance to kill at close range if the player is hit in the upper chest.
-Semiautomatic sniper rifles, Assault Rifles, LMGs, and shotgun slugs now have more consistent damage over long range. At maximum range shots to the legs will not require more hits to kill.

Honestly, the SKS is still going to seem out of place. The bolt action one-hit kill chance should make recon more fun.

-Slightly reduced the effective blast radius of the RPG, SMAW, and 40mm grenade projectiles against infantry.

Close enough, I guess.
