I thought DICE did a good job on BC2, and this is coming from someone who loved and played a lot of BF:V and BF2.

It sounds like BF3 will be a combination of BF2 and BC2 which could turn out to be an amazing experience. I've got high hopes for BF3...and I enjoy that DICE is making the PC version the main version.

I found this article: http://bf3nation.com/2011/02/battlefiel ... ts-so-far/
Which gives a lot more information.
Such as Real life weather.

Day/Night

16 types of jets and 8 helicopters.

Prone position will be included.

New feature: drag fallen teammates to saftey.

I really hope my computer can handle it :(

I'm pretty sure my computer won't run it. It can barely run Bad Company 2.

However, it seems it is getting back to the Battlefield roots which I love!!!!!

I was just thinking how much I miss BF1942. None of the sequels have stood up to how much fun the original was.

Vietnam was pretty good too. I do however miss the original BF1942 as well and would love to see a remake of it. The old ww2 fighters > jets.

I doubt they'll do it though now that the WW2 game fad is about gone and modern combat is the in thing.

Meh....I will say... at least its better than anything Call of Duty or Halo though. Primarily due to vehicle warfare.

I enjoyed the BF1942 and BF2 games. The old prop planes just added that little bit to the game I loved. Particularly the B-17 and the other expansions with the bombers.

I missed out on BF1942, but my friend told me a lot about flying warships and secret B17 missions to the out-of-bounds area.

I enjoyed BF:V though, especially the super awesome Tango boat. BF2 was also great.

I did enjoy BC2:V...but with only four-five maps...and weapons with no equal (M40 and PPsH) it got kind of boring. I also wish I could get my BC2 working like it used to.

Here's my problems so far with this game. EA, and an at launch expansion pack.
