Not a trader, need help

So I have a bunch of refined (22 perhaps?) and I am looking for a few things. I play MvM a bunch so some tickets would be great. Also looking for the robot version of the Big Chief. I suck at heavy, but love the hat. Would someday like to get an unusual. What is the going price in metal on a run of the mill medic one? Lastly, I could use a players extinguished part for my medi-gun.

I know that I can find these things through trading sites or people. I've never used a site like tf2wh so I don't have any credits. For being a former salesman it is a bit of a shock, but I hate doing actual trading. I would rather give the metal to a trusted Villun who has the item or to do the trade for me (with a possible commission?)

Any help would be appreciated!

Even the junkiest unusual hats are usually worth a minimum of 20+ keys (a key is worth 5-6 refined). Honestly, if you want an unusual bad enough, your best bet is to find one on the steam community market.

You know about http://tf2spreadsheet.traderempire.com, right? It won't help you with the unusual, which won't be listed there and will be very expensive, but it will be able to help you out with fair market value for all the other items you listed. That way, if you do decide to go the route of either trade sites or servers, you'll at least have some idea of whether you're being ripped off.

Be aware that getting stuff for fair market value does sometimes take some persistence.

It's definitely possible to get an unusual for less than 20 keys, but that's for the absolute worst cancer hats on the market. The TF2 trade subreddit is pretty good for getting cheap, low tier unusuals. That metal will need to be converted to keys first though.

Another way to get an unusual cheap is to get a gifted or duped unusual. You won't be able to re-sell it easily, but it can be cheaper. I got my orbiting planets gatsby for a BMOC (roughly 12-14 keys at the time).

Unusuals for the big 6s classes (solly, scout, medic, demo) generally cost more at the same "value" (hat/effect desirability) because there are more "serious" players invested in those classes.

You can get some lowest tier unusuals on the Community Market for about $40 or so, but a lot of them are for engie, pyro or sniper.

Yep! I got my last strange item about a month ago and now I don't need keys anymore. Got both my unusuals for a steal so I'm happy. Full strange loadouts got a bit pricey on the last few items though. PDA, invis watch, sapper and nade launcher were the pricey ones.
