EDIT: no longer trading it. I need some sleep.

Re: I have a series 40 crate, trade me for it?
I offer you the chance to escape a world of petty materialism and the chance of a life of virtue, charity and poverty via your kind donation.

I suppose I could trade some refined for a key I guess.

Re: I have a series 40 crate, I NEED A KEY TO OPEN IT
Do you really want one of the items inside? If not I'd just sit on it for a while. If the Series 30 are an indication it'll go up in value once they release the Series 50.

I'm not good at thinking about these kind of things and stuff while I'm working on serious projects. lol. I guess I'll hold on to it.

Honestly sitting on it like Flash said is probably a good idea. The only way this could hurt you is if they start recycling the items in the crate like they did with some of the strange stock weapons, but they haven't done that yet with any items from a salvaged crate (to my knowledge).

As much as our impulses may disagree, it would be wise to hold onto such a thing. Who knows...some day you could trade it for an unusual, or are all the usuals you ever wanted!!!

Re: Wait, nevermind.
The value of the stuff inside should go up at the same rate as the crate itself. I pulled a strange machina out of a 40 that was worth 10 keys when I did it. I think it's up to 18-20 or so right now. I say open it.
