This whole thread might be pointless because by tomorrow everyone at The Ville might be in the same boat by how things are looking!

I saw a couple of people get cheese wheel drops tonight (not just Ketchuo). It would seem that there are three tiers of drops, with the Diary and the Capacitor being the basically-impossible-to-find items, and the others being either common or slightly rare.

The lint and the fish appear to be the most common of the six, with the cheese wheel and barn door plank less common (but still common), on the other hand i've yet to see anyone find the capacitor or diary and have heard rumors that they drop at the same rate as hats, worse for the diary.

Based solely on what I saw over several hours tonight this looks to be the rarity order:

Pocket Lint [rained from the sky]
Goldfish [rained from the sky]
Barn Door Plank [saw and received multiple of these]
Cheese Wheel [only saw one in-game]
Damaged Capacitor [based on web]
Secret Diary [based on web]

No one really knows yet mlite, which adds to the mystery!

On the rarity front, The Spreadsheet has the first 4 items listed at 1 scrap each, the Cheese Wheel at 1-2 Refined and no value for the last two.

As Flash said, we don't know, but the diary implies it has to do with the Pyro. We know Meet the Pyro is coming soon, and the randomness of the items could be a nod to the mysteriousness of the Pyro himself.

So yeah, Valve is probably building up to a Meet the Pyro event.

Like others have said, the use for these items remains mysterious, but something is afoot, wearing the "Eliminating the Impossible" item set on Medic changes the item's in-game descriptions.

My numbers are, so far, pretty much matching up with what's expected. Thus far I've got 7 lint, 6 planks, 4 goldfish, 3 banana peels, 1 cheese wheel, and no diary or capacitor.
