I think you can just craft 3x class/slot tokens into 1 refined. So if you made another you could turn those spy tokens into metal that way.

Nope, three tokens become a reclaimed. Not very economical.

Whoops, you're right, it's a reclaimed.
However since he's already got 2 slot tokens, it's a better return than trading both for 1 scrap.
1scrap+3weapons=2.5 scrap vs 2tokens+3weapons=3 scrap
