So, I did the hat smashy and it mostly failed, having consumed four hats to make one that was not terrible.
And I'm going to offer that hat up for trade:

Yeah, I know. I was getting random trade requests from strangers when walked out with the Flaming Tyrant's Helm, for a while, anyway.
I'm usually looking for metal, but could go for a different hat or a couple of weapons.
