I'm afraid this thread is nearly 5 years old, and very few of us have anything to do with TF2 or the hat market anymore :-/ Looking at the marketplace though, you can set filters for unusual cosmetics in TF2, and get a list of (presently) 37 pages of unusual hats for under $50. It's up to your tastes!
