Since there doesn't seem to be a thread yet...

Map is here: https://www.theville.org/minecraft/maps/pasturville/

Thanks for creating it, Stevo.
:)

Just created the spawn portal. Built a portal at roughly the right place from the nether side and poof! The spawn portal came up almost right next to where the map says the spawn is.
:)

Overworld spawn portal: -37x 64y 72z
Nether spawn portal: -4x 45y 8z

Nothing snazzy; anyone feel free to redesign. Be careful when doing so though - the nether side currently has a 1-thick floor with lava underneath.

EDIT: The original coordinates were wrong. The portal has been moved on both sides. Thanks Inner and Flash for helping to fix this!

New Overworld coordinates: -203x 68y -232z
New Nether coordinates: -25x 69y -28z

Not sure whether that's actually the real spawn coordinates. Would be nice if someone who dies without a bed or comes onto the game for the first time can confirm how close to the actual spawn it is. We might have to move the portal.

Not that I'm suggesting anyone die intentionally without a bed.
:D

Yes! I just killed myself (for science) without a bed and respawned at -205, 69, -235.

OK. Inner, Flash, and I fixed the portal locations both on the Nether and Overworld side.

The Overworld side is now at -203x 68y -232z.
The Nether side is now at -25x 69y -28z.

Stevo, can you please update the spawn coordinates again?

Is the server set to restart automatically at certain times? Ive noticed this time around we are getting some rough rubberband lag occurring, even with just one player on, and its killed a few players in the nether in some gruesome fashion.

It restarts once a day.

Yeah after looking at the map it may just be the vast expanse of land kicking it in the butt.

I am laying claim to the dual village at roughly 868/64/-2262. Just north of Betteh's group set up.

I reduced the number of views on the map to just the default angle, so Mapcrafter should only be running a quarter of the time. That should reduce the impact on the server process.

FYI - after the latest MC update, be sure to check your bed. The update deleted mine, which I discovered when I died and it sent me back to spawn. Elanor said the same had happened to both her and her brother as well.
