There is now a convenient little beginnings of a base in the "sand pit" now. I have left a message board to communicate amongst players as we work.

So my kids really wanted to use a name tag on a dolphin near our house. Of course we haven't seen him again since then.

So either dolphins aren't persistent even with a name tag, or they roam much further than other named animals!

So if you happen to come across a dolphin named "Fin" please let me know where you saw him. Thanks!

Can do Flash - FinWatch begins now!

With regards to the guardian grinder, we're making excellent progress. Many thanks to those who are helping! At our current pace, I'd estimate that we can be done with the rough pit by the end of the weekend, and it'll only take me an hour or two to build the grinder itself once that's done. Then we'll be immediately at full speed production of sea lanterns, cooked fish, ink sacs, and assorted prismarine items. When the pit is done I could still use a help converting the walls to glass and such like last time, but that's cosmetic and can be done after the grinder is up and running.

The Steampunk Crew (Myself, Zinogre King, Zealous Moogle, and Johnnylombax) have taken ownership of a large star-shaped peninsula just northwest of spawn, near JD. Our main base is near the middle of the peninsula at X= -1195, Z= -1369. We've also got a few small bases scattered around the peninsula.

Alrighty, so the basics of the guardian grinder are complete and it is running. It is, however, trickling at not even a tenth of its usual rate. Hopefully it just requires drying out the remaining water caves that criss-cross beneath it (something I'll try to work on in the next day or two), and isn't just because of the changed spawn mechanic for aquatic stuff, where we're now seeing fish schools and dolphins spawning as well. Anyway - mechanically it is all there.

With the troubleshooting and mob-slaying assistance of ADP and Flash, the grinder is now running full speed. Enjoy!

Haha, that was some fun, both places dropped us right in a horde, I'm actually surprised no one died with all the creeper explosions!

Nothing better than a tub full of drowned?

This was one of Cari's great ideas...convert a zombie spawner into a drowned spawner. So I did :)

The zombies spawn and are forced underwater. After 30 seconds they make a noise and start turning into drowneds. I'm not sure if this will lead to a supply of tridents or not since I've only killed a few of them. Time will tell.

The portal to the spawner is next to the portal for my skelly spawner and marked with a sign.

Thanks for all the help Cari & Inner! The Villeantis at spawn is starting to take shape. I will be making endeavors to move spawn storehouse over there in the next few weeks. I will be converting the current spawn storehouse to underground crops. Hopefully, I will finish the second and 3rd story of the barn to house animals.

Inner I added a trap door to the drowned zombie drop in hole. Didn't change anything visually. Hope you don't mind. It was the only way I could retrieve a drop from a Zombie.

Spawn Stables/Barn are pretty much complete. (Minus needing more animals.) I have moved all the supplies in the spawnhouse over to the future site of Villeantis Storehouse on the second floor. I am going to be redoing the original spawnhouse to make it into gardens pens or gardens. I haven't decided yet.
