FTB: New version of Direwolf20 incompatible with server

So I fired up FTB today and was prompted that there was a new version of Direwolf20 available.

Current version: 1.6.1
New version: 1.7.0

When I installed it, I couldn't connect to the server, so apparently the server and client have to match versions. I explicitly changed versions to 1.6.1 and it rolled back to the previous version, and then I connected just fine.
