The Ville's Minecraft Video Tour!

Post by Kagsacar » Mon May 28, 2012 9:15 am

I wanted to make a video tour of our Minecraft server, and after getting the go ahead from the higher-ups, i am going to do it! Now i have not yet discovered all the awesomeness that lies withing the server so i am going to ask what destination do you think that i should go to, and which i can just skip over, if any at all. Just leave the target place, and a way to get to it in a reply and i will add it to the list! I will be filming Thursday or Friday 31-1. Now the perfectly logical question arises "why not let a member who knows everything cool in the server to do it?", well one it was my idea, two i need to find the locations anyway, i might as well be filming. This btw has nothing to do with me stalling so i do not have to work on the Undercity, that is totally unrelated totally unrelated. Anyway here is the list of places i am going to visit, the final list will be posted on Wednesday.

Spawn City
Calc Rail
That giant skull thingy
Nether rail station
Taco's Castle

I know a short list, but those are the places i know 100% how to get to, so please expand this list because i know i am missing a lot.

I don't feel comfortable with a video tour of our castle. I'd much rather do it in person, either Noodge or myself. (even though it's been awhile since we've been on that server.)
Also, feel free to just visit the castle. Please do not make a video tour....be courteous..

That is fine, i didn't really plan to go in depth into the places, i figure the server has lots of sights to see and i want this to be one 10m YouTube vid.

When you say the CalcRail, are you going to do a fast-forward time lapse of it? Because the rail itself is longer than 10 minutes.

Out towards the North end of the Red line I have the Northpoint Lighthouse, and the next stop beyond that is my underwater dome city of Las Tatin, with the Church of the Flying Spaghetti Monster on the island above the dome. You access the church by going up through the catacombs.

Also should drop by Gregg Tower on the Blue line North of spawn.

The giant snow golem statue at Ladeee's

Will T's Sun Mountain amusement park.

If you're looking for underground wheat farms, there's one I built at Sweet Apple Acres, but it's only 1/3rd planted until the next patch when we can silk touch ice blocks. I need the ice for the wheat items to move properly.

You can go by my place. I hope to have my sheep pens finished up before the 31st and you can see them all from the CalcRail.

Also, make sure to look up when you pass.

But... I'm Mackinz :(

I'm like the first or second stop on the way (south? Blue line) from spawn towards Castle Frau.

you have my permission to film my area, even my jungle area if wanted, its got some cool building out there. Perhaps if you give me a time I can even be on TS with you to show you around a little more in depth, I will be doing a recording myself when I get the chance but mine will be a series

Dont forget Calcs Mushroom kingdom, Pines Tree, actually there are many structures in the EVA Base you should look over such as the boat, lighthouse, sheep farm, the reclaimed land with various buildings on it. I would suggest Minitown, sweeterville, Wills skyscraper, the treehouse (inside occupants) heck I would suggest a quick video of nearly everyones place just to keep things interesting :)
