Stevo's Server, Claimed Land

Post by Marf » Mon Jan 24, 2011 3:06 pm

Map Image has been updated once again to a version by Mackinz. It's been decided that a transparent background isn't the best. Thus, I removed the transparency. Also, what's wrong with using an easy font like Arial?

There are more mega-projects planned this time around, so people are claiming large swaths of land. It might be helpful to show on the map what has been claimed, and by who. This way you don't end up building in an area that someone else has plans for.

Spoilered due to size.

For example, I've went Northeast and claimed a fairly large desert, as well as the desert just East of it I discovered this morning (after the map was generated). I have plans to build a mob trap out of sandstone, then start building Egyptian-style ruins and obelisks all over the desert similar to the Karnak Temple Complex.

Please do not bring any form of fire to my claimed land. Chopping trees here is illegal and if I find anyone doing it I will take action. The trees here are VERY dense and the slightest lava spill or lit tree can cause A LOT of damage.

Can anyone point out the spawnpoint to me? Without any major landmarks I tend to get lost.

Is there a larger map? I have no idea what I'm looking at here.

I've finished my farm cabin, I didn't sleep. I also have a beautiful forest I'd like to preserve for an adventure-type maze.

Parade and I have also claimed a large chunk of land for our (So far, mainly his) interpretation of Yggsdrasil. I'd love to be able to make some boundaries on the map so we don't disrupt others.

Just clearing up the boundaries a bit. Biker, our things are separated nicely by large mountains, so I don't think we'll have any problems.

The Light Blue is for a large project of Parade and mine.

I'm close to your forest Biker, but I'll only expand out that way until the meadow/light trees end. We can always wraparound the other side for our city - I still want it to be fairly naturally inside the valley.

The arrow you're using to point to KRG is also my place too, for the mean time. This will be a big project :P

I can't even see where I am on that map, and I have no idea where spawn is either... So I'm having a hard time telling if I've already built up somewhere someone's made a claim to or not...

I marked my area, it is basically the area that is under the arrow that KRG drew, There is also a cavern system beneath that area as well. It is very large. I am claiming it and its contents to be mine. I have placed 5 stacks of torches to far, and I still have no idea how large it is, it just keeps going, I have not gone down a large portion of the un explored areas. I know it is for the most part under the ocean that is in and around my claimed area as well as to the east of it.

So I'm thinking that I'd like to build a series of covered highways between spawn and the outlying projects.
Anyone have an issue with that? I'd take pains to insure that I didn't go through a project site.

My plans require no intervention in my forest. I want it to remain natural. My farm is supposed to be tucked away in a dense forest. Throughout the forest will be outposts. I have a neat idea for an adventure-type-game thing for my forest.
