According to the Minecraft Facebook page, the new update everyone has been waiting for will be released this Friday!
What is everyone looking forward to?

I'm reading through the comments now. The only things confirmed are a water mob and the music block.

The music blocks will be interesting, but they will be useless for anything complex. Redstone moves at different timing based on things like how powerful your computer is or lag, so you wouldn't be able to, say, make your own version of Fur Elise on one of TheVille's servers. Well, you would, but it would skip more than a CD that's been through the spin cycle.

I'm hoping for, you know, something else. Honestly, for supposedly working on this stuff full time content updates and bugfixes have been pretty thin lately. The whole "setting up the business" thing is now a done deal and I really hope that this coming update shows some significant work or I'm going to be pretty disappointed.
