XP Pro. But hopefully something that work cross platform (IE: Linux too)

With XP pro there is a built in RDC. You may already know that because of you question, but for lunix based, I dont know of anything. Are you trying to attach to the linux machine or attach from?

I don't know about RDC but I've used TightVNC for VNC.

There appears to be a third party app called rdesktop for linux.

There may be a pre-built package for your linux distro so that you don't have to compile from source.

Does Windows Server 2003 (Standard Ed.) come with the same RDC as XP Pro?
