GeForce NOW

Post by Flash » Thu Dec 20, 2018 8:49 pm

Has anybody gotten into the GeForce NOW beta? How is it working out?

I'm wondering if that will end up being an option for me, a primarily Apple macOS user, to game without having to build a separate Windows PC. My existing Mac Pro just isn't cutting it anymore for the newer games.

It's like streaming the game to your low end computer from one with a high-end GPU in the cloud:

I just got accepted into the beta. I only was able to test it briefly so far, but 7 Days to Die seem to run pretty smoothly for me. It'll be nice if I can start playing some more demanding games going forward.

Congrats on getting in to the Beta! It will be interesting to see what kind of latency they can manage - especially as they expand their service.
