Do not doubt it's existence, for I have seen it.

It is real....

The magical smoke which is contained in all circuits and chips? Totally real. As an electrical engineer, I've been trained in the wizarding arts required to insert the magic smoke into computer chips. In reality all electronics are made possible by this top secret “blue smoke” technology, invented during the cold war.

I am so confused.... Should I be scared? Do I go an hide in my bunker that is my back yard? Or is this all just some sort of trick? Maybe you will say Mateo is actually a good guy. I don't know if I should trust you now. Who is putting you up to this? Where are your sources!? Mateo funded this didn't he? I knew it all along! Shame on you Mateo.

To clarify, blue smoke typically indicates that an electronic component has shorted and burned out. Essentially whatever was giving it off is, for lack of a better term, hosed. What was it? Processor? GPU? Circuitry?

This is hard to be cool and suave while being informative at the same time. Goddamn my coolness.

it isn't so much the color that haunts a person but it is indeed the smell. can't you smell that smell. the smell that surrounds you.

Blue smoke in your exhaust indicates a problem with your valve tappets. You'll see this in commonly in old OHV Fords and other cars with pushrod engines.

Also when Chaka fries his ancient X1900.

850 watt SeaSonic PSU. Even tripped a circuit breaker when it blew.

Ouch, at least that's something you can replace, provided it didn't surge and fry everything else.

Everything else is ok. I've had a brand new PC Power and Cooling 1200 watt Turbo Cool sitting around for about 3 years that has never been used (I was going to build a mega-system, but it never happened). I popped it in last night and everything works fine, but this PSU is way too loud for non-server use, so It's going to get replaced pretty quick here.

If anyone wants a good deal on a 1200 watt Turbo Cool, hit me up. Would be great for a power-hungry server that isn't within hearing distance.

I thought of this first too. Except for that part about Chaka
