Games Freeze

My computer keeps freezing when I play games sometimes, and Im wondering if anyone can help me.

P.S. I think it might be Vista!

Freezing as in what?

Lag?... Low frame rates?... Crashing?

Lets say it freezes as in stops.

But the Task manager says its its still running.
