Keyboard recommendation?
I've been using my iMac keyboard for a while because I like it, but the lack of a print screen button has been annoying. There are work arounds but I'd like to just get a windows keyboard so I don't have to deal with it.
I'm looking for a keyboard that has keys that you dont have to press very far, that's what I like about the iMac keyboard. A lot of windows keyboards have a bottomless pit between the keys and it seems like you have to press them down a half inch.
Ideas?

Ive been using this keyboard for roughly 2 years. I have never had a problem with it, ever. It's been great since i play many games where I have 3 or 4 keys pressed at the same time and everything goes through (anti-ghosting, you can have up to 10 pressed at once).
I use the multi-media functions on the side to control winamp, and have keys bound for programs on the side (the R and L keys).
I have and will continue to recommend this keyboard.

I prefer g15. Although if I could remake it I would. The g keys are very useful but there is that gap, sigh.
When I bought this keyboard I tried all the top keyboards out, had them laid down side-by-side in store. This is the best I could find.
However, I noticed, like mice, it has to fit the user. I don't like most razor products because they're thin and light. However, some people swear by them.

I chose my G11 over a G15 for features both keyboards did or did not have. I'm quite happy with it.

I have a Saitek Eclipse II. Hate the thing. Lettering on the keys is hard to see, backlighting sucks...
Why are all the new keyboards black?? I need to switch back to a plain old white keyboard. I was in Frys the other day looking at keyboards. I think I counted 39 different models on display. All of them black. I can't see the lettering for crap on black keyboards.

See lettering? I was taught touch typing in school.
I was horrible at it. It wasn't until i played Ultima Online on a sphere emu server (the alter realm) that I truly learned to touch type. Now I don't even have to look at the keyboard, except if I'm gaming and I need to find that darn i key when my right hand is on wasd, and my left is on my mouse.

Oddly, I prefer a very plain every day keyboard most of the time. I use a $12 Logitech Standard, with very few bells and whistles. So long as the key spacing is proper, the keys aren't sticky, and it doesn't make too much noise, I've never been able to justify to myself buying a fancy keyboard. The fanciest I've ever gone was a wireless multimedia keyboard in college, so I could watch movies on my PC from across my room, but I'd never use something wireless like that today.
I learned to touch type by playing WarCraft II. Without voicechat, had to type all the messages to my friends in text while playing an RTS, often in the middle of battle with them. That, and memorizing where the build keys were, to maximize efficiency at the start of maps where a single grunt could be the difference between being wiped off the map, or having a 6 hour game. I still remember the exact order I'd pump the keys at the start.
