Interweb video chat thingies

So, it will not be long before I have to travel for work for a couple of weeks. In order to keep in touch with my wife and get to see our little girl, I bought a webcam for my PC - my new work laptop already has one built-in.

Any recommendations on software to use for video chatting? I really have no idea what I'm getting into here. I think I remember hearing Gmail has a nice video chat app?

I like skype, very easy to set up and use. My uncle married a woman in Indonesia and they use it to video chat until she can come to America, pretty cool stuff. You can use any combination of text, voice and video with ease.

Skype. Although..it can act wonky at times. I've also heard of oovoo from some. Haven't tried it out myself.
