Sounds like you got a dud G5, I got my G5 off ebay for 30 some odd dollars, brand new. And its great.

mx 518 ftw!!!!!! got the icaemate headphones too, and there also great. and just ask JD how good the G15 keyboard is..... (now if i only took the time to set up the g keys). olso have a rocket fish mousepad which is 1,000 times better then my generic 1 i had, tho with the size of the pad and g 15, they both hang a lil off the side of my desk

i like my G5 xD and my G15 and my Icemat V.2 and my Bose headphones, but i hate my dual X1800XT's though, i hate them dearly

The copperhead razer is the mouse to use.

ice mats are like 12 inches by 9 inches and they are glass, but you have to keep em clean.

Mixed opinion here.
I went through two Logitech 518 gaming mice in 2 months. Posted a message on their forum and got back a response that I should've gotten the replacement insurance. Yeah, right. :bad-words:

Switched to a Razer Copperhead. Worth the extra $$ as it has done well with many games. :hb:
