It is a setting in the BIOS that was set incorrectly. It has everything to do with the speed that the processor is set to run at.

It was running at 6* multiplier when it should of been at 10*

2000Mhz/10multiplier=200

6*200=1200
10*200=2000

It was only running at 1.2GHZ when it is supposed to run at 2.0GHZ.

rofl i was just going to suggest that after reading this post, LOL and my other guess would have been a PSU problem, i see alot od PC's that shut off intermitantly or even suffer performance because of a PSU issue.

I get a 10,630 with stock settings on my PC. Vereh nice not to have to bother with overclocking.

Yeah if you can muster out 7K+ or so, you should be able to run TF2 well enough. Thats an estimate of course but im sure its somewhat close.

my top score was 9074 with my 5200+ and a g80 8800gts640. of course the fracking 3dmark only let me run in 1280x1024.
