Steam problem

since 1pm today i been having issues with steam.
it says Scanning for steam games updates... in my games, and in my tools...and i can't play any games....its really annoying cause i am stressed out as it is.

i deleted the client registry blob and now i have to download EVERY GAMEAGAIN AHHHHHHHHHHH >_<

It was being wonky for me, but then it gave me the message to reboot because it had updated. Maybe you just need to leave it alone for a while to update?

i just reinstalled steam...no problems...except its taking FOREVER to download the games cause i pretty much live on a dorm...yeah...

Hey loka welcome to my club at least once a week I have to reload everthing from steam all the way down to my 3 + hr download of my games. Found out that as I long as I don't reload CSS i can go longer between crashes IDK why but seems to help.

I had something kookie happen last night, where in the "My Games" list it was "searching" for them....

Then once they came up I had to re-update everything...

Loka, do you now or did you have the Community Beta loaded?
(As we all know a bunch of us are having issues with it)

Try removing the beta-friends thing, and reload it (if you want) I've heard that has fixed some issues.

You can't remove it now, it's the default it's no longer beta.

its in the new update.

anyways i am home downloading all the games i had prior since my bandwidth gets killed in school. :D
