Malware and FB Warning

Post by TACOBELL » Tue May 17, 2011 4:06 am

Currently there is ALOT of malware moving through facebook, one new rootkit is in the mix as well, this rootkit does damage that most techs cannot fix, tools like tdss killer, rkill, rootkit reavealer cannot even touch this new rootkit thats out there. Be careful on links, the most recent appearance was on a "Facebook now has a dislike button, click here to install" which makes you run a java script that disables your UAC and allows the rootkit in stealth... just be careful on Facebook or..... other sites, use your brain. If any of you do get this rootkit i will remove it remotely off your PC if you want as i
kill this one 5-12 times a day.

Q: How do i know if i already have this rootkit?
A: slower then normal PC, and cannot right-click on your desktop. Many other symptoms but those are the easiest to spot.

The other major virus moving through facebook is a rogue windows xp/vista/7 antivirus

removal: PM me with your email for the .exe reg fix, run exefix.bat, download malwarebytes run it full scan DONE.

You can add me to Facebook for updates about new malware bluereaper27@yahoo.com (not real email, its a fake for facebook only, dont email me on it)

It's always a good thing to not use Facebook.

On a side note, "rouge" is a type of make up while "rogue" is an unprincipled or undisciplined person. Know the difference, it could save your life some day.

The Windows anti-malware virus isnt restricted to facebook only, there are a few ways to catch it. It is very annoying. So very annoying.

Sadly, I do have a FB account, but I follow one important rule... never install anything. EVER.

No apps, no icons, no anything that's not there by default (and getting rid of half the stuff that is default as well).

Stupid Facebook /grumble
