Out of Service PSU Died

More of a statement than asking for help :ville:

My new 750w OCZ PSU took a crap Sunday Night :sick:

I just got it (750W) and MY old 500W shipped out to OCZ today on RMA

3 days for it to get there and then a few days for them to fiddle around with them then ship me back new ones. :wall: :wall:

I had just got my old HD new PC board back and was going to try it out when the PSU went Low voltage and died but I now realize it had been going in and out of low volts and cutting out all together and then it just up and quit no power at power supplies light would not come on.

Well any way it may be awhile again...... Bawwww and just when Portal 2 went live dang it.

Hmmm. There goes my belief that PSU's were relatively bulletproof.

500watt is too small for a gaming PC. You should go with at lest a 600watt other wise you will just keep killing them.

Power supplies are far from bullet proof. If you pull more wattage than they are rated to push or have inconsistent voltage from the wall plug they will die fast.

UMmmm WHat?

Did you actualy read my post I had a new 750 Watt PSU that Died.

My older one was only 500 Watts it died before I got the 750 watt one shakeing head

I am just now turning in the 500 watt one on an RMA along with the 750 Watt one that just Bluw Up.

Also FYI I have a UPS to cover for brown outs and such it maintaind good stedy power.

YES PSU is in stalled Glados booting up Glados is Alive MY PC is now up and running wife wont have to have me sitting on her PC any more LOL
