Voice volume

I had and have a brand new gamecom 367 headset siting here but I use the 777's that I also have. I had the same problem with voice volume (plugged in front jacks). I believe that all I had to do was increase the boost or gain to like 10dB in the microphone properties settings. After that it worked. That fixed it for me.
Then they broke so I had gamecom send me a new one and thats why i got a brand new pair and I have the 777s. I prefer the usb though. You are just being a lazy pup to make three clicks to change the default playback device. silly goose.

I am not sure what mortis will give you will change things but its a start if what i suggest does not work.

Also, when I had my problems, I would use a program like audacity to test whether the playback is alright. That was my test software and it eventually helped me fix the problem.

That, or just start screaming when you play.

Just to clarify, the USB dongle/adapter I have is the one the Gamecom 777's come with, so it does the virtual surround if you want it to, thus making your 367's into 777's.

So, it seems like plugging it in the back worked... I don't know why I didnt think to do that before. Now the cord is a bit short, but I can live with that, and maybe get an extension or something later. It's kind of odd that the front... well, sucks. Anyway, thank you all for your help.
Also, thanks for looking for that dongle, Mortis. I really appreciated it, but this works... I don't even have to have the boost all the way up now.

If the volume is really low on the front, it's probably a bad connection from the jack to the motherboard. Either a bad solder or a loose connection is the most likely culprit.
