Words cannot describe computers.
So, I have had more "problems" than I can count while trying to fix my computer. Everything from well, everything. Seems like everytime I power up a new error code comes up and I don't know why. I think I just blew up my sound card too and I am pretty pissed off about that now.
I wish computer didn't suck so much, I really do. Troubleshooting is no fun.

Lol our computer was crashing left and right due to power supply problems and heating problems. The processor was battling for power with the video card.
We also have money problems, but I'm guessing my dad is going to buy a separate power supply for the video card with the money he got from selling the other wide-screen monitor. Pay day tomorrow, too
dad may or may not have forgotten little things to the water cooling...
We all get mad at computers, and I often do because I have no idea what's going on and no expert knowledge like you, blah, because I am sure you'll have a great computer up and running sometime :3

you should put a link up connected to the old forum? because I (and probably other people) are too lazy to go look for it. so without knowing too much about the situation it sounds like you should throw your computer off a roof. and put the video on YouTube.

When a liquid cooling system leaks, these things tend to happen. You probably lost your mobo along with everything else.
If you live in a building that has air conditioning, air cooling should be fine for you, and it is less likely to destroy your computer.

They haven't been a problem. They blew long before any of this occured.El_Hefe wrote:i mentioned it in your other thread... did you check all your capacitors?
And really, the only reason any of this occurred was just not a good pump and not a good block.
Also, I think I am going a little insane though. As insanity it doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results. The funny thing is, I happen to be getting difference results by doing the same thing over and over again. Troubleshooting this has been a shot in the dark everytime.

None of this gives me the answer as to why my northbridge is running at 85C. It melted the fan mount and all. Air cooling obviously didn't cut it.Clay Pigeon wrote:When a liquid cooling system leaks, these things tend to happen. You probably lost your mobo along with everything else.

I'm going to go with because the fan got stuck after drying coolant sludge clogged it.
I'm assuming it is an nvidia nforce series chipset. They are known for being hot.
My nf590 ultra's northbridge is running at 50c with its fan running a just under 3.5K RPM, and if the fan ever fails on it I'm SOL.

That could be, the fan still spins though, might be electrical on that.

What's with everyone having computer issues? The only issue I've had in the past 3 years was my Power Supply blowing because Denver hit 90F and the room was sitting at 100F. Also, my northbridge on my E759 Classified runs 70-85C most of the time because it has a NForce200 chip under it, but it was designed to withstand that.

my northbridge runs at 80C and higher, it melted the fan mount and broke my little fan that was on it. I thought that was funny.
This is legitimately the only problem I have ever had.
In short this is what happened:
Water pump stopped pumping, it was no longer strong enough(brushes on the electric motor wore down).
No water flowing through water block, over heats and cracks the acrylic top(I know its not good for a water block, I was an amateur when I purchased it).
Coolant leaks out onto my video cards and sound card and motherboard.
Video card took a slow crap, I was also partially responsible for it during the cleaning and fiddling around with it process(bumped it out of its port while the computer was still on, yeah not good)
I broke my sound card when cleaning it(damaged one of the data contacts for the PCI port).
