This topic may be very easy for most people to solve..but

I need help with my signature. I can not for the life of me get an image to display as the background or simply be linked as an img (and I am using the [img] things.) What am I doing wrong? Thank you

you might have the bbcode disbaled in your signature. under your user control panel, in the profile section where you edit your signature, make sure the " disable bbcode" box isn't checked

Images are enabled, but it still comes out saying something like [img]Insert%20link%20here[/img] instead of displaying an image. How are you supposed to link it?

You need to have the image hosted somewhere else (i.e. upload it to a place like photobucket), and then put the URL to the image in between those img tags.

i wonder if it is automatically disabling it because it is such a large image.

Might be too big for the signature.

you've got the bbcode disbaled somewhere... not sure what part of the profile config you are needing to go into to change it though.

The BBCode button is located in the edit your signature area.

Make sure that is box is not checked.
As for the signature being too large, I doubt it. Checkm8's signature is 500x220 pixels while yours is only 500x202.

I doubt it breaks it, but your code is done correctly. If should be [u ... ext/Image*

Alright thanks for the help, I can post the image in the sig, but how do you create a background?

Sigs can't be bigger than 200px high.
I switched off "Disable BBCode" in your sig for you.
