There is a sense of order to the server after a few <eVa>, .TVR, <TVB> or =USV= join in. I have no problem asking people to check their language. If that doesn’t work Cooper is always around to bother.

I'm looking for my first notch on the ol' ban stick. If someone is acting out, hit me up on Steam.

I just deal with it or leave the server, to many times I've asked an admin for help and was ignored. :?

I doubt you were ignored. I really hope you don't take that stuff personal Tickles. I think "missed the call" is more likely. Sometimes you might have to ask a few admins, that's why we have a sizable group for you guys to draw from. We're humans with real lives so we might not have a perfect track record, so please just ask the next admin on the list.

Plus, you can always use your own supporter votekick/ban :D

Not to mention we just hired a whole new group of admins to help. We're doing everything we can to provide assistance on a daily basis.

I don't have that supporter package.

It's all good though, doesn't bother me really anymore. I don't take it personal, never have.

You corrected me once for saying dang :) Just to clear things up words like damn, piss, crap, dang, hell, are all allowed.
We even allow a few real swear words, just don’t over use them. We are not trying to enforce third grade rules. If we clamp down on the language to much and start kicking for it we will have empty servers.

Agreed Squirrel. I will usually come down on repeat offenders or just absurd swearing. But, I have zero tolerance for racism/discrimination. That is a insta-boot, doesn't matter if its the first time or there is an apology afterwards.

But, to say that I will come down every single time someone swears would lead to empty servers. We ALL have our moments where something bad happens and we might let out a curse here and there (although we try out best not to).

The situation is important with language. Abusive language directed at another player is unacceptable, even if it doesn't involve "dirty words".

For example:

"Oh crap, spy sappin' my sentry" is fine.

"Squirrel is a lousy piece of crap" is a different story.

There's a lot of joking around and friendly ribbing that goes on and that's part of the game, but be careful. You can't assume that everybody gets the joke on a public server. Or you get situations where Player A is joking around with Player B, but Player B doesn't know it's a joke and has their feelings hurt.

Just a reminder to everyone....

The free TF2 weekend means there will be some unsavory individuals blessing us with their presence. Please refer to page 1 of this thread to best contact an admin.
