Stats Points Info

Many people have been wondering how the points are calculated, so here's a post that I hope will answer that question.

Here's the basic formula for the amount of points traded per kill:
(Victim Points / Killer Points) × Weapon Modifier × 5 = Points traded

Don't forget that objectives give you points also, so teamwork pays off!

Thanks Stevo, I was wondering how some people would get more points for killing me!

(Now if only I could figure out how to kill the enemy with the Smoke Grenade which is 5 points...)

Um....
Squirrel killed me with a smoke nade once......


I had one health and he threw the nade and it hit me and I died. Stats said I was killed with a smoke nade....!

But to try and kill someone... that'll be a challenege. That is unless you've got Squirrel hacks

Ok here's a question from a TF2 new player, how do we do a compairson of our points vs other folks? Is there a list updated and posted somewhere?
