I'd be really curious to know how many people here have The Ship, and who would be interesting in getting together to have a good solid round of it at one point in the near future. I'm fairly certain that if anyone's bought it within the past year, that they have a free guest pass that they can give out to people interested in playing it too. My guest pass expires at the end of the month, so if we end up having it before the end of the month I'll gladly let someone try the game out.

How long do guest passes last?

I gave someone my DoD one and it was good for three days.

My CS:S one says the same thing, so I'm guessing...

Well I bought my Ship back in December and every month it tells me I've got another month to use it.

I wouldn't put too much faith in the expiration time on yours, Masa.

As for the length, I believe it's 72 hours from the time you first play it.

I'm willing to give you my guest pass there, SU. I know Tickles was also interested in the game when I mentioned it on the Shoutbox one day...

And yes, we need to arrange a good time for everyone to get together. I'm back in town on Tuesday, and because I volunteered to help out my store's graveyard shift for a week, I'm available anytime in the evening up until about 11:30 Ville time.

I can give my pass to tickles.

I have a chemsitry midterm Wednesday so I'll be busy studying before then, but I'm available any time after that.

Oh, and I meant it was functional for the recipient for 72 hours; I don't think it expires for the holder until you send it to someone.

I'd definitely be up for a Ship night, unfortunately my pass is long gone. I know Oddjob and Rakshasas also have the Ship.

Yep, sounds like fun. I'm looking forward to being an easy quarry for someone with much more experience in this game than I.

However, I cannot overstate the importance of the fact that one of the weapons one can use is, indeed, a fire axe.
