Stevo was nice enough to let us use his server to host the Ship server, so we have an actual dedicated server now!

Same rules apply as they did in my server, with the exception of innocent/money kill only bans you for ten minutes.

All right, let's shoot for tomorrow evening, Threaz. I'm sure we can get a few people in the server to help you learn the game.

The most important things I can tell you:

*This is not TF2. It cannot be played at all in the same manner. Stealth, deception, strategy, and lots of patience are required. Paranoia is also necessary .
*Keep a close eye on the, um, eye. If you draw a weapon when it's red, you go to jail.
*Keep an eye on your needs and keep them in check. I can't count the number of times I've been an easy quarry becuase I let my needs drop too far and had to sleep/pee/shower and leave myself vulnerable.
*You never know when you'll need to defend yourself against your hunter. You can almost always find fire axes scattered liberally around the ships. I try to keep one on me for defense since it's a one-hit kill.

I can give you all the tips in the world but the very best way to learn is by playing. So that's what we'll do!

I went through the tutorial and played some Arcade Mode last night to get myself acquainted. It looks like it should be fun. I've already remapped my Inventory key so I can get to it quicker. I imagine I'll remap more once I play more.

We've converted DOW over to Mr. X's army too! Soon this cruise is going to be fully booked! We'll need to start playing on Cyclops and Andrea Doria!

That was pretty fun guys. It's a little easy to distinguish between bots and human players though. Once I learned to keep an eye on the eye and I knew where the no-no areas were, I didn't go to jail once.

Where in the heck do you guys find all the cool weapons?

Certain weapons can only be found in certain places. I also loot the corpses of my victims.

Protip: I usually find the best weapons on Batavier in a box in a little room on Deck B just between the games room and the outer deck.

That was a great fun night we last last night everyone! It was nice to get 2/3rds of the Ville players out to play with some of the new guys.

The best part of the game is simply finding out where all the best weapons are kept. Each map has a couple of specific caches of good weapons, and trying to find them in the grand chaos of everything adds a little excitement to the game.
