Just as a heads up, we've been forced to make private our Steam Community group for the Ship. A random nobody joined and sent people bad links, so to prevent such things, the group is now invite-only.

No worries though. If you pick up the game and want in, just ask! We'll be happy to throw you an invite!

Sorry to quote myself:
7:00 Ville time? Masa, that's 5:00 here. Us West coast people have to work you know. That's way too early.

wow 7pm Ville time is a no go for German players, that would will be 2am Friday in the morning ;)

Perhaps on the weekend but even that would be really hard
did we already thought about Saturdays? Less people work on Saturdays

Hope it dose not conflict with other events. We eventually would have to skip or postpone it for cups or other events.

I second Winky's post, and would like to add that Winky's sig is shoddy MS Paint work.

Well, it's pretty simple. You and the rest of the players (and possibly bots) are all passengers on a cruise liner that has been turned into a hunting ground by an eccentric millionaire. Littered through the ships are all manner of weapons from firearms to to explosives to melee weapons of all kinds, and every round you are given a passengers name and another passenger is given yours. You need to find and kill your target (called a quarry) while being mindful of, and avoiding, your own hunter (you do not know who it will be, so everyone is suspect). Things like security cameras, police officers, or witnesses can get you arrested if you pull a weapon in front of them. Every round the money-for-kills table shows the highest valued weapons, that is, the weapons that will earn you the most money if you kill your quarry with them. Usually the more widely available weapons (like the fire axe) get you small amounts of money but the rarer weapons (like shovels or shanks) can gain you several thousand dollars with a kill. The first player to reach the set winning total of money (we usually play to 30,000) is the winner. You can also lose money for killing innocents or being arrested.

It's very different from the explosions and mayhem of Team Fortress 2. It's a thinking man's FPS, and requires real strategy and planning to be successful. Once you get the hang of it, you'll see why we love it so much :)

There's also some Sims aspects to it, where you have to take care of your needs, like eating, sleeping and keeping yourself entertained.
"So what have you been up to, man? Haven't seen you in so long!"
"Ah, you know how it is. Doin' a lot of side projects, some consulting, maybe a little freelance... Those are words that people say when they haven't actually been doing anything, right?"
