Thanks to Masakari, we have a new Ship server!
The SS Masakari went into dry dock, had a refit and was relaunched as the new TheVille.Org XIV!

With our new Teamspeak server, your on-board sailing should be a much more pleasant experience!

No need to post the IP. With such a small fleet, ours is easy to spot!
We're the only one with HLStatsX!

:)

Not liked it needed much paint or anything like that - it was the number one Ship server in the world when it got the new coat of paint on it! Regardless, it's nice to have it officially on here, and get rid of the excuses for people not playing it, especially with our Teamspeak server! It was also great to have everyone out in full force tonight to get the server seeded (And have a whole bunch of pubbers commenting that they're adding the server to their favorites!)

It is a voice chat system.
You press a key on your keyboard to chat.
Make sure you use a key that you don't often type with, e.g. a letter. Choose something like CAPS LOCK or CTRL or INSERT

The player count is too high. It's hard enough to find a good weapon to use without the "You Have 90 Seconds Left to Kill Your Quarry" message coming up within 15 seconds of the round start, especially on the smaller ships.

I found it no problem and I'm a new player.
The drawers often contain syringes and knitting needles, and if you are stuck grab an axe - there's always plenty of those.

Don't feel pressured to get a kill every round. Bide your time, find a valuable weapon and strike when the time is right. One kill with a $12,000 value weapon is better than three kills at $1,500 apiece.

I find it's always best to grab an axe just to have on hand, they're great for fending off attackers.

Part of it is also knowing the map. The best weapons are usually found in unassuming cardboard boxes tucked in corners. On Batavier, go to the room just next to the game room, with the staircase leading up to the bridge. There will be a box there under a fire axe on the wall. Good weapons spawn in there often. There's also a cache near the clothing shop on Deck C on Krassin, and the housekeeping areas of most ships.

You trying to teach me how to play? I know how to play the game. Hell, I don't pick a weapon up unless it's in the top 3 of the money list. I don't want to kill just to kill. I go for the money.

What I'm saying is on smaller ships, there is a lot of congestion with 16 players.
