Map voting... glitch?

Today while seeding Customs, we ran in to a wierd thing with the map voting not providing sufficient options. When the vote came up, it provided only the following choices:

Vote For Next Map:
1: cp_desertfortress
2: extend current map

We voted to extend the current map (Toy Fort) by a huge margin, laughed about the limited poll, and moved on.

Half an hour later, it was time to vote again, and it provided:

Vote For Next Map:
1: cp_desertfortress
2: extend current map

Familiar, eh? Well, we voted to extend again, and began seriously discussing what was going on. We love Toy Fort, but it'd been going more than an hour, and nobody wants to play Desert Fortress.

About 2 minutes later, yet another vote came up, this one said:

Change Map?
1: cp_desertfortress
2: Keep Current Map

All of us cracked up laughing at this point, as the server seemed dead-set on forcing us to go to Desert Fortress. We manually changed it to Wacky Races on a voice vote, and moved on. Just figured I should make mention of it, as I don't think it's supposed to do that.

Troubleshooting information:
Server - TV2 Customs
Map - Toy Fort
Server Population - around 10 for first vote, around 16 for the second and third
Time - Around 6:00pm - 7:30pm Pacific time, 01/10/10

Interesting....with less than 12 players, frontier/dbheights should have shown up in the payload category, and observatory should have been in the A/D category. I did notice that only two categories showed up at one point in time last night too....

I wonder if there's a bug in the plugin?

I have seen several occurences recently where it was 2 map options or an extend, but I never really thought about it until tonight with the same thing popping three times, with only 1 map option. I believe all the times I've seen it it has been on Customs - I've spent most of my time there recently trying to fill it up, but it's possible it's been elsewhere. Might be worth asking IronWolf if 10 has had it while seeding, as he's been trying to do that recently.

It won't show the past 4 maps, and it will only show maps with a limit lower than the population. After the first vote, it doesn't seem to generate a new list, so that's probably the problem...

TV10 doesn't have voting...

TV1's voting was working fine last night.

is tv2 the only one that has playercount dependant votes though?

I noticed on tv1 that hydro almost always comes up on the voting list when I play on it.

IIRC


the vote system we use on TV1 is semi-intuitive in that it will keep putting maps in the vote selections if they haven't been played in a long time.


But, I could be totally off....
