Film Synchronicites
Aside from Leonardo!^2 (whom may know of this) I was wondering if anyone else out there knew about them.
The basic premise of a synchronicity is that you have a film and a completely unrelated album, and play the two of them at the exact same time (the album replacing the film's normal audio track) and strange overlaps occur - the audio matches with the video (at least to some extent).
The most notable synchronicity is known as "Dark Side of the Rainbow", which is a combination of Pink Floyd's Dark Side of the Moon and the 1939 version of The Wizard of OZ. If you havn't seen it before, then I encourage you to give it a shot. Here's a bit of a sample of what its like.

My personal advice regarding them is that it's a new way to enjoy old movies and albums you may have grown tired of. It's a very interesting experience and can be quite entertaining. If you liked the above, you can watch the rest of it on youtube.
If you want to try more, and are looking for a synch that has a movie/album you personally love, here are some sites that can come in handy.
The Synchronicity Arkive
The Synching Ship
Cine Synchs
Alternative Synchs
The AV Room
The sites aren't fantasic, and I'm not sure when they were all last updated. Still, I believe it's worth a try if you havn't tried it before.

Ah dark side of the rainbow....so many fond memories. The first time we tried it we were a bit "out of our mind", so to speak, and it was seriously the best movie ever!
though I have tried it since I stopped going "out of my mind" and don't find it as fun. Still neat but not as fun

I used to mute the TV when I was younger and turn the radio on. Some of the commercials timed themselves to the songs and I was rolling on the floor quite a few times.

I have one that is a music video that is scary. Take the videos for NSYNC - Bye Bye Bye and Marilyn Manson - Tainted Love (Uncensored Version). Start the Tainted Love video, give a second or two delay and then start the music for Bye Bye Bye. It lines up nearly perfectly if done right
