Actually, what I mean is that you can really only get points from others. This post will get me no points, but it will give 2 points to regis since he started this thread

I think points work kinda like rep on some boards. Slightly different but same principal.

They (points) could perhaps be a way of showing gratitude, and thanksgiving to specific Villuns. A show of generosity, selflessness and sheer comradere.

So the points are to be given or earned by contributing. I get that, but what are they used for? So someone gives me 40 points, can I now go and buy lunch?
