Well, it was just Christmas... and also, Nintendo made a stupid move and didn't crank up production enough to meet up with the demand - which is surprisingly still staggeringly high...

They are all ebay listings but at least most aren't listing the box contents to make it seem like you are getting something more than default system at $400. But you can get them for about $30 more than retail.

Also find out what day your wal-mart or sams gets their shipments in and check on those days.. The wal-mart around my house gets them at least every 2 weeks if not once a week.

Up here where I am, I was told by someone at futureshop they won't be getting any Wii's till spring or early summer.. My mouth literally dropped. I'm sure they'll get some before that then. Maybe. I'm still waiting for my GH3 for ps3 to come in stock

I had no idea about the shortage of Wii machines etc. I figured I'd just go down and buy one in the next day or so.

I absolutely refuse to buy one from the scalpers. Those folks are lower than dog poop IMO.
