I will explain it for you!

binds can be done by going into your console.. press the ` or ~ button to get into console.

then type bind "what key you want" "say or say_team then your message"

I bind to my number pad so a bind could be..

bind "kp_rightarrow" "say Hello and good day all!"

make sure you put quotes around the key you want to bind to and what you want to say. say is for everyone to see and say_team is only your team..

%i is to bind the person closest to you
%h is your health percentage
%c is your class
%l is your location

so you could mix binds..

bind "kp_uparrow" "say_team I am a %c at %l with %h and need back up ASAP!!"

If you dont want to use the keypad..

bind "k" "say blah blah blah" or what ever key you want in place of k..

Hope this helps! :D

Nope! Sorry!

Nuckin....nice job and nicely explained!

And Deacon... I forgot about all those voice and hand signals. Thanks for reminding me! Often wonder if you could do a nice bind with all sorts of signals.....! I think l3eeron had nice "throw nade and tell the team" bind...!

Yeah I'm considering changing my normal "need backup", "grenade!" and "need ammo" binds to also show my location. Maybe even the "squad covering fire one".

Just want to warn you, and i had to learn the hard way :) , don't bind your number keys...you might ask why not? Well, because if there's a vote for a map or any other votes you'll be stuck with nice sayings cause you bound them and they don't work anymore....
the good news is, Stevo, taught me how to fix this....unbind them and then re-bind them to be numbers by typing
bind 1 slot1
bind 2 slot2
where 1 and 2 are the numbers 1 and 2 on your keyboard.

It sounds like the voice commands should be the same.
